Milford Sound, Fiordland

The first time I travelled to the Milford Sound I was awestruck by the intensity of the landscape. Sheer mountains carved by glaciers plunge into the cold, dark waters of the Sound, creating a surreal, mysterious atmosphere. I woke early one morning to heavy rain, and set out in the dark to wait for dawn. Under cover of a tree, I watched as the showers continued to roll in. Finally, the clouds relented and drew back to reveal the brooding mountains. Light broke briefly through, illuminating the waters, and I knew that this was the image I had been waiting for.

Delivery
