Nestled on the hillside overlooking the plains of Bendigo are the historic ruins of Welshtown; a thriving settlement during the Otago Gold Rush of the 1860s. As the first rays of morning crept over the hills, I captured the rugged landscape beautifully contrasted by the pastel hues in the clouds above.
