I scaled the rocky outcrop at Castlepoint before dawn as the lighthouse sent out its beams across the dark sea. As the sun rose, the warm morning light coloured the rocks a rich ochre, bringing a stunning contrast to the stormy skies above. I quickly started shooting this dramatic scene before the sun was obscured by clouds and the moment had gone.
